I would recommend visiting it. You can walk inside the icebreaker and visit it's cockpit. Also there is nice and unusual view on the city from this place. Unfortunately you can view only limited number of rooms, i.e. there is no way to see it's boiler room, so that's why I put 4 stars only.

A museum inside a parked ship. Entry is with a tour only. This turned out to be a lot more interesting than I expected. The guide told us about the history of this specific ship, about the mechanics of ice-breaking, and showed us round the quarters of the various officers. The interior of the ship is maintained in how it looked after its final reconstruction, which has a vaguely art deco vibe.

The engine room tour was very interesting and the technician there is very entertaining and educational. Strongly recommended for everyone technologically inclined.

Amaizing place to visit!! If you are older than 14y.o. then you can visit the engine room with excursion. The Icebreaker is still alive and in operational state. Excursion is each hour, please check schedule on the homepage.
