Apparently, now you can get into the apartment only with a guided tour, because someone really lives in it, having bought Rasputin's former bedroom. An excursion to the apartment for about an hour, a huge amount of information from the guide. Much has been preserved in the kitchen, even the doorbell that Felix Yusupov called on the night of the murder. You can go to the back stairs, along which he and Rasputin went down on his last night. It is very atmospheric and generally amazing that all this has been preserved and you can visit it. I don’t know who to thank for this, so I am speaking here. A small monument to a great era and a person who fully embodies it.

The apartment on Gorokhovaya, where Rasputin lived, I visited there for the first time with the guide Evgeny, since I myself have been working as a guide for a long time, I assumed that I would not learn anything new for myself, but I was pleasantly surprised, a wonderful guide, knows how to present material in such a way that I immediately want come take a book, archives and delve into the study of this material. I recommend to everyone.
