An interesting and unusual exposition of old scrap, tires, wood and other things. The creators tried and put a lot of imagination and skill CronFest is an interdisciplinary project that combines art and ecology. The festival is held annually in June, in Kronstadt, a city located on the island of Kotlin in the Gulf of Finland. It started in 2008 and presented the audience with a wide range of environmental art events: poster and photo exhibitions, workshops on creating art objects from recycled materials, graffiti contests on garbage bins, master classes under the motto “Clean Art”, projects on forts . The festival takes place on the basis of the Museum of the History of Kronstadt and in other closed and open spaces of the city. It is attended by artists of visual and performing arts from Kronstadt, St. Petersburg, cities of Russia and the countries of the Baltic region.

A real object of contemporary art

And strange, and funny, and with meaning. For the first time I visited Kronstadt, found this exhibition by chance. It is evident that people have invested a lot of effort, inspiration and time. True, I would attribute some exhibits to the category of "trash, waste and sodomy" 😅😂 It is interesting not only for children with parents, but also for ordinary visitors who accidentally wander into remote corners of Kronstadt)

Fun exhibits are located right under the open sky. Some of them have been here for many years, and something has appeared relatively recently. Old exhibits are already dilapidated and rusted. Of course, maybe there is some hidden meaning in their aging for this installation. But everything looks abandoned and neglected. On the other hand, if you walk in Kronstadt, then why not look into this place for free, without time limits and without barriers and fences.

So cool, from such nonsense funny things built. Immediately not everything is visible, but cancer is even more interesting)))
