Beautiful view. A beautiful lighthouse. But you can't get close as always (or you can only come on holidays)

An excellent exhibition, we stayed there with the children for half a day. You can climb inside some exhibits. touch everything with your hands. Around is a beautiful view of the Kronstadt harbor, and forts and lighthouses are visible.

It is easily reached, close to Petrovsky Park. The wooden lighthouse is one of the symbols of the city, its tall white tower stands out from afar. It was built in 1888 and is one of the oldest wooden headlamps in the world that survived to this day. As it is operating, though as an emergency headlamp, it is not permitted to climb the tower. Its light is visible at a distance of 30 kilometers. It is nice around, there are many vessels that are worth seeing. Nearby is the place where the boat trips start.
