Very interesting places and beautiful nature around

We took a day trip from our accommodation with friends near the Sea of Azov to visit this, the Shrine of the Little Hands is, I believe the English Translation. The main shrine is really a rock face from which a pring emerges and forms a stream running down through the forest. Either side of the shrine are a church and a small chapel. There are facilities to capture the spring water and take it away as Holy Water in container. Just down stream of the chapel is a small plunge pool for pilgrims to immerse themselves in the Holy Water. The whole site was upgraded around 5 years ago and comes under the auspices of the Diocese of Krimsk, I believe. I found the place very peaceful and inspiring. I participated in the 'plunge', following the rules listed(as interpreted by my wife who is a native Russian). The facilities include free changing cubicles, by the way. One was informed to make three Signs of the Cross before entering the pool, once in, to 'dunk' oneself fully under the water three times, saying a prayer at each full immersion. The miracles of the water for me was that I could not believe how cold it was yet it still flowed! My prayer, said most earnestly at each immersion was 'God Help Me!', and I am sure He did! After we left the site we found a clearing in the forest and had a picnic close to the stream formed by the shrine's spring. The outsie temperature was around 40 degrees C that day and we found a useful hollow in the stream big enough for the two of us to lie and soak in the cooling waters! A lovely day out. It has taken me over a month to find out the name of the Shrine else I would posted earlier!

Calmness is the main feeling that one gets when visiting this place. A refined natural spring with an excellent water composition. A chapel, a parking lot, a toilet, a cafe / refectory, a forest, a river beckon to this place to come, and we visit this place as a family 2-3 times a year. There are a lot of people on religious holidays and on weekends, keep in mind.
