At the end of the 18th century, Denisovo was a village that belonged to F. G. Kudrin, the owner of the neighboring village of Belkovo. In the first half of the XIX century, Denisovo became a village, which in 1846 already belonged to Major A.I. Zuzin. At this time in the estate stood a wooden manor house and two wings on its sides. The current three-story stone house is being built in the 1850s. The house has a two-story balcony-terrace with a colonnade, rich external decor, preserved to this day. To the south of the main house, a park breaks down to the pond. To the north of the house is a stall with an acacia arbor and an orchard. A road lined with lindens, birches and firs leads from the estate to the village of Belkovo. The wooden outbuilding, standing a few tens of meters west of the manor house, is probably the old manor house. In Soviet times, there was a boarding school, then a special correctional boarding school of the 8th type. In 2008, the boarding school was closed. The house is for sale along with another 20 architectural monuments of the Kostroma region.
