The monument "Red Flag" in Samara is located at the intersection of Chapayevskaya and Krasnoarmeyskaya streets. The monument "The Red Flag" in Samara was established in 1977, in the days of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. The authors of the project are architect A. G. Morgun, sculptors I. B. Fedorov, A. I. Frolov. The red banner, as it flutters in the wind, rises on a granite pedestal. Before him, the head sculptures of the commissar in a Red Army cap, a soldier-peasant in a papakha and a worker in a Budyonnovka. Above the right is written "Fighters for the establishment of Soviet power in Samara." A platform of concrete slabs with a fountain is laid out around the pedestal in an ó-shaped way. Also an important element of the composition is the flower garden broken by a number. It is noteworthy that the design of the monument was developed in 1970, but it was decided to install it only seven years later. The monument "Red Flag" in Samara reminds of the feat of fighters who forever left a mark in the history of a great country

Monument "Red Flag" was installed at the intersection of Krasnoarmeyskaya and Chapaevskaya streets on November 5, 1977 in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. Here was the first mass grave of Red Army soldiers, shot by white-Czechs on June 8, 1918. The authors of the composition: architect A.G. Morgun, sculptors Igor Fedorov and Alexey Frolov. The sculptural composition represents the Red Flag waving in the wind. Before him, the head sculptures of the commissar in a Red Army cap, a soldier-peasant in a fur hat and a worker in a Budyonnovka. On the banner there is an inscription: "Fighters for the establishment of Soviet power in Samara." Since only the heads of the revolutionaries are depicted, the people immediately nicknamed the monument "The Snake Gorynych."
