This fountain is located on the embankment of the Volga River on the Leningrad Descent. It was opened in 1986 to mark the 400th anniversary of Samara. Initially, it was made of concrete, but during the reconstruction of the third stage of the embankment in 2012, this composition was replaced with a new one, made of stainless steel. The height of the fountain is 13 meters, and it weighs 16 tons. the fountain has 620 jets - according to the number of young people who died during the Great Patriotic War. In 2012, excellent backlighting was also added.
