While it appears on the map as two separate places, it is actually one site that is connected by old stone walk path. You can enter from either end, but its best to start at the top as it will be easier to go down.nnThe cost is rather reasonable for entry and you can see the architecture in what makes it very unique, Representing a rare case of British Colonial Architecture in Taiwan. The upper portion has mainly displays with a great view of the harbour and waterfront. The lower section has displays that showed why life would be like in consulate during its time.nnBoth sections have a place to buy goods and gifts, but they are a bit pricey. The upper part does offer a tea room but it wasn't opened at the time. It gives an menu similar to a British tea party if you wish to spend there.

Entry ticket is 99TWD of which 30TWD can be used to offset food or drinks.nThere's negligible exhibits and more of a place to take photos and have high tea. The security also follows people around warning them to keep off the brick parapets though it's one of the best place to take photos.nGreat place to watch the sunset.nThere are 2 entrances of which is better to enter at the consulate at the bottom of the hill rather than hiking up along the main road and taking the steps up.

If you are there to enjoy sunset, this spot will make you smile on your face for the whole time of sunset. And coffee would be good in the old office. It is very kind of price.

A beautiful example of restored heritage buildings - both the residence and the consular building. Nice museum showcasing the history and well preserved. View from the residence is great - you can see for miles!

Lots of steps and quite stiff for climbing up to the restaurant and the upper part of the museum
