Asked questions about visa to the lady who speak chinese. She was very rude and pretend not to hear me and hung up. Was just trying to ask for some information.....

The document legalisation process has much to be improved, to make the service much more efficient and ease unnecessary confusion. Here are some situations we encountered and felt disappointed:nn1) instructions and links to book an appointment is not available on the NTIO websitenn2) even when calling in call-in hours (as instructed) we only get the phone answered on the fourth day trying, this information needs to be updated or have more staff availablenn3) after receiving a confirmation letter, the application fee is again wrongly stated in the confirmation email.nnI hope the information can be timely updated, no matter on website, email or calls. Based on my recent experience none of these has been accurate.

Miss Tiffany Kuo is like a centipede in rendering services for NTIO and should be recognized and awarded by NTIO, this review is forthcoming out of my experiences regarding the services for issuing a proof of alive since December 2016.

The absolute worst consular service I've ever experienced (and I've lived in quite a few different countries). I didn't even need a visa, just had to get some documents verified. The front desk lady was grumpy and rude, extremely condescending to everyone. On the phone she was just as unhelpful, even said that how was she suppose to work if we kept calling (we're only allowed to call within this 1 specific hour). I have never been this angry at any other embassies or consular offices, congratulations NTIO for creating such a terrible impression of the country.

Efficient and very friendly staff, they accompany you through any procedure in a fast way by email, or by inquiring information over the phone.nnMy advice would be to call or send an email before coming/going there. You might need an appointment.
