Under this sad building, which was originally the main building of the NKVD in Ukraine, was the palace of Yaroslav the Wise, which is now impossible to explore. During the war there was the Gestapo, after the war - the NKVD, MGB, KGB and now the SBU. Next to the side gate is a memorial plaque commemorating those who were tortured and killed by the Stalinist regime. People were either killed here in the basements, or taken in thousands to the Bykivnia forest, ordered to dig pits and shot.

Large complex of buildings. Beautiful main building. The history of this area in Kyiv is long, sometimes sad. Inside the marble stairs, the interiors have not changed since the time of the first UPR, but everything is in good condition. Not everyone can get to the interior, maybe it's the best.

Takeaway food is not provided, there is no delivery, there are no parking spaces for the disabled, no parking spaces at all, there is no toilet paper in the toilet, the elevator in the building works poorly, where the investigation, workers are neat, polite, I'll come again.
