Massage Envy

I really wish I can give 0 star on this review but google doesn't allow me. I am just too tired to write all down but guys do not waste of your time here

Before I start let me say I wanted this to be zero stars but google wouldn't allow it. I recently moved to the area and didn't know where to go to get a massage in town. I thought that massage envy would be a good bet, its a chain and they should have high standards for their employees. Oh was I so wrong. I have been getting deep tissue massages every few months for the last eight years and have never had a issue. I enjoy a firm pressure but I trust that the person giving the massage knows where they should and should not apply that firm pressure. The hack that giving me a massage apparently had no idea what she was doing and I ended up having to go to the doctor due to the tendon damage she caused. I am so angry and although I want to call and yell at them I can't because while I was there I heard the staff talking about clients who had spoken harshly to them. They don't give a damn. So if you want a massage here is what you do, drive to Kokomo and go to Solutions day spa. Yes it is an hour one way but it well worth the time.

Always relaxing

NEVER AGAIN! While I was on summer break I called about a massage and they were able to get me in that same day - yay! While I was waiting another woman came in and insisted that she had an appointment scheduled - the same one that I was waiting for. I felt terrible but know that sometimes mistakes happen. The massage was great so I scheduled a stretch at the end of last month and planned to get a membership. When I showed up for my scheduled stretch I was told the person who does them was running 30 minutes late. I couldn't wait due to my daughter's day-care schedule. I rescheduled for today - January 8. I have been looking forward to this appointment all winter break. My back has been killing me and I knew it would be such a relaxing end to the first day back at school. I planned to pick my daughter up late from day care, made sure I didn't have any after-school commitments, showed up for my relaxing massage, and was told I WASN'T ON THE SCHEDULE. Turns out the woman who rescheduled me put it on FEBRUARY 8! The woman at the desk today was so rude, no apology in her tone, talking to me like I'm an idiot rather than the person who put the appointment on the wrong month (I know it was January because we had a conversation about it being right after break and how great that would be). It was too late to go somewhere else, too late to get squeezed in at the chiropractor, and due to my teaching schedule and baby I'm at least three weeks out from being able to have another free day after school. For some people this might be no big deal but I planned my entire schedule around this massage. Now I'm at home with a back so sore and tight I can barely bend over to pick up my 9 month old. Thanks Massage Envy.

I've visited several ME locations and the West Lafayette location is always a ray of sunshine to walk into! The front desk staff is so friendly and attentive. I feel like they really care about me as a person and my needs. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family and for anyone who could use a lift physically and mentally..... I really do think the staff cares and wants to help :)
