Birky Family Farms Country Gourmet

Birky catered my wedding a couple years ago. I was jut thinking about what an amazing job they did and how good the food was. It was a 200 person event and Birky helped make sure everything went off without a hitch. We had the pulled pork (that they raise themselves so you know the pig was raised in a healthy way) and numerous side dishes. Can't recommend enough. A cousin used them the following summer for her wedding reception because she liked it so much.

Baked good are fantastic! I had a blueberry muffin filled with cream cheese filling, my client had a chocolate chip muffin. They were absolutely perfect! There is also an impressive frozen meat and meal selection towards the back of bakery. I’ve purchased a 1/4 of a grass fed steer from Birkey farms before and I loved the quality.

Didn't like the pizzas much. The catering is probably good, but the food served to the youth centers was bad, bad, bad. Mushy pasta that's been cooked the day or days before and left in a steamer since 9am to get soggy all day when it's eventually served at 4pm and later. It was even worse with the California blend vegetables. The broccoli and cauliflower were steamed for hours until it was literally mush. It looked like baby food at best, something else at worst. But that's how it was served. Some things like pot roast was pretty delicious they'd serve there but that was the exception. It's food thrown together by one person who just kinda knows what they're doing, then reheated by people hired who can barely put together a peanut butter and jelly sandwich if it was to save their life. But like I said, the catering is probably good. I think they put effort into that.

I recently had Birky family farms cater my company picnic. The pig was roasted to perfection along with the other side dishes. I received several compliments about the food and passed the Birky name onto several other people. F.Y.I. this is the first Google review I had ever made. Great job Birky family..

Bad experience! No owners on scene, only you g kids, bad & sloppy service. Girls couldn't stop their talking to wait on anyone.
