Moving Places tried to take complete advantage of my newly widowed senior mom. They wanted to charge her $9,700 to have an estate sale. That is $7,500 ($7,500!) more than any other quote/estimate we received.nnAll of the other companies we interviewed do 30% from the estate sale and then charge for hauling whatever is left after. What's the incentive for this company to sell anything if they get 10k up front? What they thought they had was an easy target- a grieving widow preparing to move out of her beloved home of 30 years.nn$9,700 just to have the sale and move out things that's don't sell. That's more than her entire upcoming cross-country move.nnAvoid at all costs.nnedited to add: the owner of this business, gave my company, which is a family photography business over 600 miles away, that she has never used, a 1 star review. That tells you everything you need to know about her ethics and credibility.

These guys are great. I can't say enough about how good of a job they did. They were kind, clean, and good at what they do. Moved my entire home in less time than expected and cost less. I would refer them all day long. If you want movers at a great price and great quality call them.

Fast, Quick and Easy! No headache! Most moving companies require a credit card for a deposit, which is inconvenient for me because i don't have a credit card but i was able to schedule a appointment with no problem, the phone representative was very nice and professional & also the movers was amazing! They did my entire move in 2 hours! I would truly recommend them & will also be using them whenever i move again! Thank you so much, Moving Places! To make it even better, they are a family owned business!

Now that our move is over and the dust has settled I would like to give a Big Shoutout to Nicky and the Team at Moving Places. It was a 2 Stage move and I can't say enough about how the responsiveness and professionalism was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Moving Places to anyone thats moving and looking for a good value.
