This is a once in a lifetime donut spot! I am the type that could eat donuts everyday- breakfast or not. I was finally able to make a trip to Voodoo and it did not disappoint. The donuts are so incredible, the line was wrapped outside the building! I asked for a dozen mixed and said “surprise me!” I personally loved the voodoo doll donut, but they all were delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Donuts tried: glazed old fashioned and glazed raisednnStarting with the old fashioned since we’ve had more old fashioned than we have had glazed raised. It’s a classic shape in the way that maximizes the glaze surface area with a nice crunch. However the flavor is much much better than delicious donut with hints of vanilla and lemon. The cake without sugar is minimal so hard to taste itself. This is a solid old fashioned trailing minimally behind Blue Star depending on what you are looking for. For good cake taste - Blue Star for good sugary taste - Voodoo.nnGlazed raised donut was a whole difference experienced. The height of the raised donut is almost 2 inches. The donut has the great texture pillowy and chewy. The glaze is uniformly spread. This is much better than coco donut.

I had been craving for donuts, but all the places I asked do not have vegan donuts. Voodoo's vegan donuts are the best. So delicious! So satisfying! Thank you for making vegan donuts available.nnThe peanut butter jelly donut is my favorite. Can't wait to go back to Portland to get more!

Delicious and twisted. Good service and doughnuts.

I don't really get the hype...? This is a pretty bog standard donut store, except it was definitely quirky and affordable. Maybe americans have a different standard for donuts than us Aussies, but while it was tasty, it was hardly some amazing donut experience. I've definitely had better (just from local bakeries), but also had worse.
