Cal's Moving Help

A few months ago we started some remodeling and needed our furniture moved out of the house to a storage pod. Trace and Alexis arrived right on time and quickly went to work getting all our furniture moved to the pod. We had two important pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled (a 6' X 9' Seven piece entertainment center and a large custom desk). They took excellent care of those two pieces as well as all other items. They were very professional and very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to get everything packed in the pod! Super friendly, efficient and professional workers!nnThen several weeks later, we called Cal's Moving again to get everything moved back into the house. This time it was Alexis and Morgan. Cal's Moving Help was amazing! We were moving out of a third floor apartment with no elevator, at the end of summer, with wildfire smoke in the air, during COVID times - and they did an absolutely fantastic job!nnOur two movers were Austin and Hayden, they were very friendly, professional, and efficient movers! They even knew by looking at our couch that it would be difficult to maneuver down the stairs, so they called in another mover, Nick, to help. They called him to help with the couch and kept moving our other furniture in the meantime, it was all very fast! Nick was a great help, professional, and friendly as well!nnIt took them a little less than two hours to move all of our furniture out into the van, and less than an hour to get it into our one-story home! They are a very reasonable price, and their original quote was pretty accurate. We actually ended up paying less than the original quote because our movers were so effective and got the job done quickly!nnAll of our interactions with the staff while scheduling and confirming the appointment were great as well. Everyone at Cal's Moving Help is very friendly and truly wants to make sure your move goes smoothly! I highly recommend their service, and I would absolutely use them to help us if we move again in the future!

I hired Cal's moving company to help me move from Albany, OR to West Salem, OR. I was extremely nervous about hiring a moving company to move my things because I have never hired movers before. (And I have heard the horror stories!) I didn't have that much to move and it was not even that far of a move so I told my self what could go wrong!!! Did some research Cals stood out as a top candidate. Called had no problems scheduling the day and time I wanted everything was great!! The day of the move I call to confirm yes everything is great I get the names of the two movers that are going to be there to help me. 3pm no one is here... 330 still no one so I call the office is closed. 4 no one so I send an email! At this point I am in tears thinking I was scammed I am not moving today... I am going to have to unpack boxes to find what I need for the night! Finally get a call back from the office that they have been trying to reach me but they have been getting a busy signal! Well that's weird cause I have been trying to reach you too! Their first job was running long and they are just now heading to me if that is still okay! Oh my goodness YES YES please thank you I say!!! Morgan and Shawn show up at almost 530 on Friday night and help move me!! I cant thank them enough!!! They were fast, friendly, and so thoughtful! They had transposed a number of my phone number and that was the whole communication issuenCal gave me a discount due to the mistake. Again I can't thank Shawn and Morgan enough for all the help they gave me! If I have to move again I will definitely be hiring Cal's moving company!!!

Cal and his team helped me make the move from Salem to Portland. They did an amazing job, the whole day went so smooth. You could tell that they had lots of experience moving a wide range of items. They had all the appropriate supplies to ensure safe transport of all my furniture. I would recommend this company over all others. Trustworthy, friendly, funny and handsome! The whole package!

This is a REVIEW of the 3 men who came from CAL'S MOVING HELP to our home on October 6, 2020. First of all, they called to let us know they were 15 minutes behind. That was so professional. When they came, they carefully removed exactly the items we asked them to move. They were kind, courteous, professional, efficient and very nice to work with during this time. They are coming back on Friday, October 9, 2020 to place items back into our home after our new carpet arrives. WE GIVE THEM ALL 5 STARS. THEY WERE CRIS, MIKLO AND MORGAN.
