Definitely the right choice! I just finished building an amazing guitar with my daughter, who is a serious player. We specifically decided to do it right with the electronics. So we went with Seymour Duncan P-Rails with triple shots and set out to find the best electronics around.nnGary was incredibly helpful both before the purchase and after. Even helped me with a dead on debug guess after we finished soldering it all up. We went with his recommendation of the Les Paul Upgrade Kit with Orange Drops (0.022uf and 0.015uf) and vintage wiring. Boy was he right. This thing sounds simply amazing. Thank you Gary! Only problem I have now is that she has by far the best guitar in the house... what to do.
Amazing sound! Just put the vintage 50's prebuilt kit into my les paul and -wow! Amazing tone, super crystal clear sound, and tons of adjustment. What a difference.The craftsmanship of what Gary builds is really superior to anyone else I see. Plus, Gary has been such a help with questions. Very happy with my purchase!
