Carmel Piano Movers

Our experience with this company was lacking and definitely will never attempt to use them again. My wife set up to have a family heir loom piano moved from her parents home to our home. She called Carmel Piano Movers office to get it set up and was told that someone would be in touch to schedule the delivery. Later that day someone did call and spoke to my wife and seemed a little annoyed at how excited my wife was to get the piano moved here ASAP so he said he would see what he could do and call back. Days went by and on 2 different occasions my wife tried to call the man back and leave messages and still no response. When I called to cancel our work order with them after a week of not hearing anything, the lady in the office was very nice and seemed very concerned with everything that had happened and said that she would be in touch to follow up with me after she had tracked down the root cause of the issue. Also during that conversation she asked if it might be possible to keep our business if they would give us a free tuning after the piano settled for awhile and I said of course that would be very nice of them. Next, Tom, the manager or scheduler for their deliveries called and I gave him my wives number and he called her. In short their conversation was a mix of him apologizing but also making excuses to why it was not his or their fault that this happened. And to top it all off I have still yet to hear back from their office for any follow up or tuning or anything at all. We ended up going with Meridian Piano Movers who were super friendly, professional, fast and about $40-$60 cheaper. DO NOT USE CARMEL PIANO MOVERS if you ever want a piano to actually be moved.
