On 5/27/20 at 2:01pm EST near mile marker 125 on I-80 Eastbound in Pennsylvania, driver in truck #82 (Gray Kenworth) was in the left lane traveling in what I estimate to be in excess of 65-70mph through an active construction zone with workers present. I was in the right lane. I observed a sign that indicated the right lane ended in 1/2 mile. I turned my left turn signal on. At this time there was an unrelated semi in the left lane directly next to me. I observed a large gap, in which I estimate to be at least 200ft behind this truck next to me. Truck #82 was located behind that 200ft gap. When driver of truck #82 noticed my turn signal, he immediately began speeding up. During this time, I already initiated my lane change in the noted 200+ft gap. Driver in truck #82 kept accelerating, forcing me to abort my lane change, before illegally passing me on the left shoulder. To avoid an imminent, preventable accident with this driver, I was forced to collide with 3-4 construction blockades. This driver is extremely reckless and in my opinion caused unnecessary and preventable danger to himself, me, the nearby motoring public and most notably the construction workers that were actively working. Dashcam footage recorded the entire event.
