The Candyman Strings & Things

I'd love to rate them higher but their selection of electric guitars and amps leaves alot to be desired. I've been in many times over the last year and it seems like their inventory hasn't really changed much at all. This is especially true regarding amps. I think the exact same amps are there now that were there a year ago. Of the amps that are there, they all look used and there is a very limited variety. This is especially true regarding higher gain amps. I'm looking to buy either a mesa or peavey amp but it looks like I'm going to have to literally drive to another state to be able to try them out. It's a very nice looking store with great selection of accoustic guitars but it just doesn't serve my needs very well at all.

I hadn't been in here in a long while but was checking out some things for potential Christmas gifts. The staff here is so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. They aren't pushy about getting you to purchase and are wonderful about presenting all the options. So grateful for this resource in our community.

Justin was a wonderful help, coming in as a beginner and not being upsold on anything. Even picked up a ukulele for my girlfriend. As a traveler it is rare to receive such service. Wonderful shop and highly recommended. Happy customer.

Been coming here for a long time, absolutely love the store as it has a fantastic collection of instruments. The best part about Candyman is how awesome the staff is. They are super helpful with answering any of my questions, and are all around good people. In light of recent events ordering gear curbside was a breeze, the owner went above and beyond. So glad y'all are open again!
