We are extremely pleased with Greg’s work. It was exactly what we expected and exactly what Greg promised. We have my parents’ RCA Victor Solid State stereo phonograph model VLT 32-L about 1970 vintage. We were referred to Elkhart Stereo by another local repair shop. I talked to Greg on the phone and although I know nothing about repairing old stereo equipment, I realized right away that he both knew what needed to be done and he also had quite a bit of experience repairing them. I explained what I wanted… “for it to play good enough for our grandkids to be able to dance to some of our old records.” I took the stereo in for Greg to look at, and he told me what it would cost to fix it. We agreed on the price, and he had it fixed in less than a week. When I picked it up the cost was exactly what he said it would be. He even built a part for it that he could no longer get. He put a record on for us and it sounded better than I had ever heard it. I would trust Greg with any of my electronic equipment.

Elkhart Stereo provides a valuable and especially rare service to owners of older audio equipment. Rather than taking space in the landfill, we can enjoy our vintage stereo systems long past their normal length of service. As for being one star for existing in a tough neighborhood next to a church, I’m convinced Jesus would have more blessings for a person making a go of it in these conditions than He would have blessings for those whining about it. As you consider these Google reviews, please give more credibility to those who actually use their real name!

Greg fixed my late 70’s receiver and turntables. It’s been a great experience to have him work on these things. He knows electronics and how things work. It’s awesome to have him in our area to work on our electronics!

According to the 2 reviews that make this a 5-star place, they say it's really good. This whole street of this location needs to be either majorly remodeled or torn down. It's sad seeing these rugged places next to a holy church.

Greg is a very knowledgeable stereo and electronics tech. I have found him tonbe cordial, informative, and honest. A unique business offering services not convenientlynavailable elsewhere.
