We celebrated my granddaughter’s ‘sweet 16’ birthday at the perfect location❣ufe0f The ultra ‘sweet’ Cake Bake Shop in Broad Ripple. While the shop in Carmel is dazzling, elegant and spacious, the Broad Ripple Shop has that fairytale vibe you get from a small corner tucked away in your favorite spot. Our group was treated to a private party room, decorated in Gwendolyn’s classic style. We came here tonight to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday. I have been making cakes myself since I have been 12 years old and I will say the cakes here are pretty good. The chocolate cake in the mint choc chip I personally would like it to have a little more stronger chocolate flavor, but the mint icying was wonderful. The carrot cake was really really good. The spice pumpkin was really good as well. And the birthday party sprinkle company cake like not sure the actual name of it was a little bit dry and kind of lacking in actual good cake flavor I guess the icing was good though overall she does really well on her cakes I guess it's the plain average flavors the chocolate and the vanilla that me personally I just did not like the rest of them are fabulous I really enjoyed her icing and I don't even eat cake I have been making it for 28 years and have been burnt out on it but I'd say these cakes are pretty good

Delicious cake (of course) but honestly I was more impressed with the quiche! It was DELICIOUS. My husband and I shared a quiche and then split a piece of cake and it was a perfect lunch.nnWe enjoyed the Cookie Dough cake (how do they get the pieces of cookie dough to not turn into cookies while baking????) and my husband thought the Red Velvet (our to go) was also amazing. The cream cheese filling was DELICIOUS. Best cream cheese filling I've ever had, hands down.

My daughter took me here last night for my birthday. If not for the magical Christmas decor, the rating would be lower. I know it probably sucks to work on the day after Thanksgiving (been there & done that) and also in COVID times and it showed with the service. But that could be overlooked if the food is good. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to trying Gwendolyns Earls Court Chocolate Cake but it was hard, like freshly out of the freezer. A few hours after I got home, I was able to see perhaps, after it had thawed more, why the cake has such rave reviews. The coffee & the company were the gift though.

We planned an afternoon tea with Madison today for my sister's birthday and it was absolutely incredible!nThe place is gorgeous! Our food was perfect and our service was fabulous! Cannot recommend it enough!
