The bakery is by far the best in Indianapolis/Indiana. I love how personal and kind the staff was, down to asking the thickness of the bread. I can’t tell you how excited I am to come back. The macaroons also were by far the best. I loved the flavor and the airiness of them, by far the best in the city. The price is very fair and I’m also surprised that they do custom orders. When I was there I asked if they sell milk bread, to which they said they don’t but would love to for me! The environment was very home like as it is a family business!
Rene’s Bakery is by far the very best bakery in Indianapolis. The owner and his staff bake outstanding breads, pastries and cakes all from scratch right behind the counter. The fruit danishes and various croissants are as good as you will find in any city and baked by friendly staff. This business is a must stop while you in Broad Ripple.nnBrian
So this is my favorite bakery in town. They have everything plus. I've been going there for 12 years and before that my son went to one of Rene's small business for many years. Their quality is outstanding and a lot of their style is old world.
Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. The service here is great. It has a nice interior. They have so many great reviews for a reason.
Super cool & friendly staff helped me pick some absolutely fresh & delicious treats!! PS we came down from Chicago & we're impressed.
