I purchased a mattress from the store on 56/Lafayette in early Dec 2020. The experience in the store with Damon was the only marginally acceptable experience for an establishment. The delivery was a day late with no notice from the company after calling and texting the owner multiple times with no response. The WRONG MATTRESS was delivered to my house and by an unprofessional third party delivery company who deflected every issue on Rubens and had ZERO accountability and whose truck broke down in the parking lot where I reside and asked me for a jump. I called the store; which routes to a personal cell phone of the owner who denied my call and then texted me repeatedly. This person then demanded photo proof the wrong mattress was delivered. I immediately drove to the store and began the process to initiate a refund with the “store manager” who was clearly dealing in some shady business and return the mattress. Mix ups happen- but the service and unprofessionalism was UNACCEPTABLE! Once the order was cancelled the owner did not send me any confirmation and said he could not confirm until the bed was picked up. The third party delivery truck said they were broken down AGAIN and could not pick up the mattress. For the love of all things respectable in the free market, SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES THIS ESTABLISHMENT.nnThanks for the response but did you read what I said? You didn’t address any of the outstanding issues I presented and we are 2 days from the WRONG mattress being picked up from your delivery partner and I have not received any confirmation email like I’ve asked several times.nnIt is also your policy to harass customers on Instagram and insult them and call them derogatory names after they post a review??

Shop here and feel cheated later if you have issues down the road. No follow-up they do not honor their warranty—lousy businessman. I hope they hire some business partners so they can correct their practices. They Shystie AF!

Bought a mattress and box spring set in March. The mattress started giving us pain, even with the pillow top mattress pad we bought later. I called, messaged, and walked into a location to resolve this issue. I've been given the run around about contacting the warranty department, sent to voicemail and ultimately ignored. We've only had this set for 4 months now but I've been reaching out to them for months. The box spring is still in great condition but the mattress is horrible. Never doing business with Ruben's again. Don't waste your time or money there!

Easy to do business with. They were open to negotiating on price since I was paying cash. They delivered the mattress that same day. Good quality, good service.
