Great place to work. Spent 10 years with them. The founder, Steve Russell was a genuine guy. Cared about his drivers. Unfortunately two young thugs came along and drove it in the ground. Sad that it went.

I worked for Celadon 11 years ago I was very happy then and I'm still happy here 11 years later coming back to work according to my dispatcher he does not have a problem with me he gives me lots of Miles I've been very happy I've been averaging anywhere between 26 to 3000 miles a week and still be able to do my reset he lets me run the way I need to run I go home when I want to go home he doesn't call me I don't call him unless I need him don't wait for freight my freight is already on my board before I even get emptied that is one of the best things in this company besides the bonus did they gave me the amount of money they're paying me per mile I'm very happy with that they have a rider program for your wife your kids even your dog I'm treated with respect I'm not a number in this company I'm a driver with a name and that's how they respect their drivers most companies don't do that they have an open door policy you can walk in to dispatch talk to your dispatcher you can go above his head if you're not happy you can go to management there's a lot of things in this company that I truly truly like when you break down they take care of you the trucks going to be there a day or two they will put you in a motel and pay you for that that's the other good part with this company if you break down in your in a terminal they have a bedroom with a TV restaurants they feed you what more can you ask for out of a company Celadon in my book is a * 5

I understand that they filed chapter 11 I'm sitting here at the flying j truck stop exit 43 off of I 64 in Kentucky I tried to inform them that the have a trailer sitting in the parking lot no truck just a trailer #252583 but when I tried to call no one answered don't surprise me one bit I guess All the office people got let go as well I guess it's going to get towed n they will have a huge storage fee n towing bill

Consider this a public service announcement: This company has filled for Bankruptcy and has suspended all present and future operations. Currently as of the date of this PSA: 12/10/19, Their website is down as well. Please note: I am not affiliated with this company and I do not represent this company in any way shape or form either legally, personally, or professionally. I am just a Google Maps Local guide who has decided to take it upon himself to let the public know about a business that has recently been shut down permanently. And so people who are thinking of going here for business, are fully aware of the latest developments so they do not waste their hard earned time, money, and gas in their vehicles coming to an empty building on the far East side of Indianapolis. Which unfortunately adds yet another big problem to our local neighborhood. Yet another vacant building to be vandalized and defaced. But that's another topic altogether. This concludes this Public Service Announcement. Have a better holidays and thoughts and prayers go out to all of the thousands of people who have lost their jobs yesterday.
