My absolute favorite dessert is a macaron and this is the only store I go to (well sometimes I'll go get some from the freezer section in target, but that's only in dire need). My favorite is the earl grey flavor. It's a subtle sweet that's perfect. Love love love the Macaron Bar!

This is purely a suggestion rather than advice. I thought these macarons were a bit on the sweeter side. And I'm the kind of person who absolutely loves sugar. The flavors are there. I loved the lemon lavender. Chocolate could have had a bit more bitter dark chocolate. Texture was really good. Overall it was okay, can be improved a lot.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.nI bought a 36 box for $69 and it was such a letdown. These are overpriced for what they are. The cookie flavoring is gross; Tasted like fish food. Plus, the filling is non-existent. Of all the flavors the only one that had any real flavor was the mimosa and it tasted like gone-off orange.nNOT WORTH THE MONEY.nnAdd flavoring to your cookies and add more filling. I ordered the largest box and all my macaroons felt rushed and sloppy. What happened? They didn't even put designs on the cookies, so I was unsure what flavors some were. Most of them had no flavor at all, so I couldn't delineate them. This was such a giant waste and I feel conned. You expect something crunchy and lovely on the outside, with a burst of soft filling and flavor on the inside, but these were like dry fish cakes.nTO THE BASTILLE! lol jk but I wanted to love these and frankly I don't.nnThe one good thing I can say is the design of the packaging is beautiful. The last thing you want is all style and no substance though. Where is the flavor? Give me flavor!nWhat happened?! Check your production line guys. Something was seriously off about these.

I am from a small town in N.C. and was just introduced to macarons at a bakery that just opened in my area. While visiting a friend in Indianapolis, I was thrilled to see the Macaron Bar. We visited and after spending $25, Inreceived a dozen assorted macarons that were so stale they crumbled into pieces and should never have been sold. I am livid that they had the nerve to sell these and they should have advised that fresh ones would be available in a matter of hours. Horrible experience!!
