I really wanted to love this place especially after hearing such good things. I just moved nearby and was missing the hole in the wall donut shop from my old town and thought I'd give this one a try. The donuts seemed a little tough and sickeningly sweet to me without much flavor to them. And I'm not normally one to shy away from sugar. Good, fast service and cheap prices though are what made up the two stars I am giving them

We go past here every day on our way to taking our Granddaughter to Central elementary school, I always wanted to stop, but usually the donuts were gone, I stopped this morning, the applesauce cake donut was delicious, the long John with maple icing was good, but next time I'll have him fill it with cream. He can do that for you. I'll try something else next time.

Their donuts are good, but the owner himself is not much to write home about. I went in and ordered a dozen donuts of wide array but when trying to ask questions got shot down very quickly. I know it’s early in the morning but some mutual respect goes a long way. The cinnamon roll donuts were very good but the conversation in shop was sub par.

Not good. Totally not worth the money or calories. Definitely will not go there again. Dude, I would suggest you get some pointers from Long's donuts in Indy/Southport or Linzy B donuts in Seymour.

Al’s donuts aren’t bad (certainly not as good as Krispy Kreme). But the owner (Al) is super rude and not professional at all. Might as well go to your local supermarket and get Krispy Kreme donuts there because I would not support this business.
