This was our first time using a moving company. We were only moving 1 mile away and just wanted our big items moved. I called many of the popular moving companies around town inquiring about service options and getting quotes, but they were all outrageously price for such a mediocre move. Than a friend recommended Michael Ball Moving and we are so glad she did! They had several moving/service options with great rates. Before the move they invited us to come down to their office and pick up all of the packing boxes and materials we wanted. Which was no extra charge. We had two movers that showed up early and both were very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were very careful with our items. I can't think of one negative thing to say about the company or our movers.I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about this business! When I called, Craig was so kind and helpful! He had great communication leading up to our move time! The 3 movers, Sean, John, and Ryan were so quick and respectful of all our things! My family was so pleased with them! We will always use them when moving and we will recommend them to everyone!

I've moved so many times across many states and my experience with Michael Ball Moving by far surpassed them all. There were many opportunities for Michael Ball Moving to dissappoint me in the course of our most recent, somewhat complicated move, and yet they executed flawlessly.nnThe level of communication from every one of their employees was exceptional. People picked up the phone when I called. They knew who I was. They knew the answers to my questions. Previous to and on the day of the move, the employees made sure to be in touch with me along all points of the operation. During the move they had all of the needed equipment and moving knowledge. They were on time, they were professional, and they were friendly. Handling my recently-passed Grandmother's antique furniture, they showed the same care for my property as they would for their own. They offered advice, and discussed and planned with me where to place pieces once they had arrived at the destination.nnAnd after all of the attention and care they had given our move, they calculated the final price and came in under their estimate. I can count on one finger the times that has happened to me before.nnMichael Ball Movers are my movers now, forever. If you're smart, they'll be yours too.

Fast, friendly, and careful. Josh, John, & Ray did an awesome job of packing our furniture safely and carefully into a large Pods container. The price was great and the work was outstanding. Can't ask for better than that.

We moved from Lexington, KY to Louisville, KY. We sustained multiple item damages including a shattered (expensive) picture, a badly stained and damaged mattress, tearing of the vinyl seat cover on a mobility scooter, a broken chair, ruined slipcovers, and a crew who had done well until a second crew joined them midway into the move. Mr. Ball came to our new home and viewed the damage, but it took multiple phone calls asking that he do so before we got him here. By the time he came I wanted the whole thing over, as the move itself had been a major downsize and we had a monumental unpack ahead.nnHis attitude while here was not unpleasant but it was not the professional demeanor one would expect of an owner. He wished to pay us cash for one of the items. The total cost had been a little over $60. He counted out $59 in cash, pitched it on the table and said, “You’ll have to be satisfied with that.” With that sentence he was unprofessional and rude. I would’ve accepted that amount gladly; instead, I accepted it with a bad feeling.nnPerhaps the second additional crew (who appeared much “rougher” than our first crew) caused things to go awry. We are glad it’s over but sadly would not recommend this company. However, I’m still waiting for his vinyl repairman to call to set up the repair of the scooter seat cover, so I suppose it’s still not over yet.
