Worst trucking company i have ever seen. They don't give you miles they don't believe in pre-planning trips so your stuck waiting for hours after delivering so the can find you a new load. Your lucky to get 2000 miles a week.
Terrible Company. I worked for them for 10 months,then my Father died. I was told to leave the truck at the Atlanta secured parking lot that they pay for. They wanted me to go back to work while I was still grieving from his death, which I refused to do. They put on my dac report that I abandoned their truck, even though I left it where they told me to. Screw Summitt, they don't care about drivers.
They don't care about driver's or their families
Otr driver. I love working here.They have treated me well and given me the miles i need. Its a good company.
Horrible Experience. I just completed the FOUR day orientation process, was assigned a driver number, fuel card, and truck. Shortly after I was called in the office and terminated with the reason of “not being a good fit”. This could’ve been established during the application process, plus I will not get paid for orientation or reimbursed for the traveling expenses. Summitt also have an inward facing camera with audio, so there won’t be an ounce of privacy while you’re operating their trucks. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. I’m convinced this company is racist as well, orientation started with FOUR African-Americans.. but all (including myself) was sent home with no reason on the actual hired date.
