Icing On the Cake By Kristina

My sister (and several friends) used Kristina for their wedding cakes, so I already knew I wanted to use her! She's creative and we knew she would be able to execute our vision (she even helped us a little to make it more creative!). The cake itself is DELICIOUS and beautiful. It's hard to find someone that can do both! We did a split dessert plate with one piece of vanilla almond layered cake and one piece of red velvet. It was comical, all night long guests were coming up to the Groom and I to tell us what their favorite was! (split down the middle, both were seriously so good).

If I could give Kristina a million star review on here - I would be the absolute happiest to do that!!! I cannot give her enough high praises - being a COVID bride, we had to go through the process of planning and re-planning our wedding a second time, and I could not have asked for a better wedding bakery to have done that with. Kristina truly came alongside my husband and I, consoled and encouraged us when we had to reschedule our original wedding date, cheered us on when we were finally able to have our celebration, and all of the moments in between!nnFor starters - her cake design aesthetic is absolutely stunning. From her beautifully designed centerpiece tiered cakes, to her intricately and thoughtfully designed cupcake displays, we knew in our hearts the second we saw her website and previous work that we wanted her to be the one to design our cake display for our special day! Our experience truly only got better from there - Kristina worked closely with us from start to finish, helping us to bring to life our vision, from the design of our cupcake stand arrangement, to our cake tasting (we selected six flavors to try, they were all AMAZING and we couldn’t pick just a few, so we went with all six!), to our tiered cake at the top of the display, down to the smallest details…she truly made the experience not only so easy and comfortable and REAL for us, but 100% enjoyable, and that’s exactly why we loved our cake and cupcakes so much, because you can tell she truly poured so much thought, creativity, hard work and love into our special day!!nnKristina was always so easy to get into contact with, so friendly, and so full of such creative vision for our big day and everything leading up to it! When our wedding day finally arrived, we had absolutely no doubts or stresses going into the big weekend that everything would be captured so beautifully and timelessly, as we knew we chose the perfect wedding bakery for our celebration! Kristina truly treated us like family of her own — and that is something you cannot put a price on for a wedding bakery. I am all for supporting small businesses but Kristina's service was incredibly disappointing. My husband and I had an early morning meeting to sample cake flavors and we arrived at her home on time to find no one present. After a long drive and a longer wait we went back home without an explanation. I was later contacted and given a short, nonchalant message stating our appointment was simply forgotten. We never received any compensation for the time it took to get to this fruitless meeting. Additionally, we were met with add-on expenses throughout the process. For example, we were allowed to taste only 3 flavors of cake and any other flavors cost extra money. For the price of her cake, I was surprised to find it cost extra money to rent a small display tier for the cupcakes. I was recently asked by a friend about my wedding cake and I honestly could not recommend Kristina. While her product is very good, it cannot redeem her lack of respect for her customers.

We went to a cake tasting for my daughter's wedding. Kristina was very nice and her cakes delicious. She must use real butter in her buttercream frosting because it is very light and doesn't leave a coating in your mouth.

Kristina made my son's dinosaur birthday cake and it was amazing!! She did the cake exactly as I wanted and tasted amazing!! My son was sooo happy!!
