Montvale Moving Services

We have moved 5 times in 5 years and this was our first time using Montvale Moving. They were exceptional. They adjusted their schedule to get our job done faster and with more men. They also didn’t charge us for the extra time and manpower. They packed our items perfectly and labeled them correctly. We have had multiple issues with this in the past. All of our items were moved without damage. They even laid down protective wrap and cardboard as the day we moved was awful rainy weather. They took all of their garbage and cleaned up when they were done. This was no small move either...3 trucks. I can’t say enough great things about this company and their employees. Top notch and laid back. Never using another moving service again. Montvale is the best!!

As a first time home owner I couldn’t have been happier with Marty and his crew. Everyone was efficient and professional we had just our floors refinished before the move and they took steps I would never have though of to make sure everything was protected. The speed that they were able to get our stuff moved with was beyond impressive. I honestly feel like I didn’t pay them enough for the quality that we got. If you have to move do yourself a favor and let these guys handle everything.

These guys were not what they were cracked up to be. I chose them for their solid reputation but come the day of the move, they were not on time, they were constantly bickering amongst themselves even a sort of hazing was going on to what appeared to be one of the new guys of the group. Just downright uncourteous and unprofessional behavior on their part, not to mention I found chipping and damage on one of my dressers that had been in the family for three generations. Not pleased at all, if you're looking for movers, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere because these aren't your guys.

You will never find a better moving company. From the first interaction, Marty was professional and receptive and easy to talk to. You can tell he is a genuinely good guy that cares about his company, his employees, and his clients. On move day him and his team were hardworking and meticulous. They were extremely careful not to scratch or damage a single piece of furniture or the floors. We did our move over two separate days (it was a big move). And not a single employee complained once. I’ve worked with movers that aren’t careful with your stuff and walk around with an attitude like they are annoyed to be working. Every single one of Marty’s team was friendly and professional and worked hard from early morning till late afternoon without a grumble. We even lost the foot of a shelving unit. And Marty found it in his truck and drove it back to our house a couple of days later. Phenomenal and honest! I am so grateful for their excellent service. I’ll never use anyone else. Thank you Marty for taking great care of us!!

Guys did a good job, were careful and conscientious. Didn't arrive with masks, when I asked, it was shrugged off and one of the men said they were B.S. I wasn't comfortable, but didn't want to upset the men who would be handling my belongings, and couldn't afford to send them away.
