The Great Kate Studio

For over a decade, I have brought promising clarinet and saxophone students to The Great Kate Studio. There they have an exciting time creating an audio/video recording to be used to audition for National Band, competitive summer camps, and college acceptance. It is clear that acceptance into colleges of their choice requires more than good grades. Students who show a high skill level in the performance of quality music definitely enhance their personal profiles,nnMy students were all positive about their time in the studio citing Mr. Leogrand's pleasant and calming demeanor during the session. He has the ability to mix serious directions with enough funny comments to move the session along to a successful conclusion. And then, the performer has a chance to hear and compare each take until all involved are satisfied.
