Grand Shilla Bakery and Cafe

One of the original bakeries in K-Town. Still one of the best and made on premises. Their pastries and the FOOD is tasty! Their friend donut selections are delicious. The curry and rice flour doughnuts are addictive. Parking is metered but can find spots in the surrounding area. Also, there is parking in the nearby municipal lot. Their drink selection is plenty and their coffee is very nutty. Lots of quick sandwich selections. They have many specials for takeout for lunch at work. There is a decent sized dining area. Hope this craziness ends soon and we can get back to normalcy. If you like authentic, this is the Korean snack place to go to!

First of all their bread/pastries is overpriced. Not sure the baked goods are worth the price.nSecond and what probably got me the most was the unfriendliness of the staff. Especially the hostility from the woman who seemed to be the manager. I felt pressured in hurrying up in choosing something to buy even tho there was virtually no customers at the time and there really was no need to rush. She approached me quite abruptly and spoke to me in an aggressive tone if I was looking for something when in fact I was just browsing and considering my options. From there I couldn't help but notice her staring at me as if to prod me with her eyes to hurry up and buy or get out. Overall my experience there was humiliating and upsetting as a customer.nI would have just left but my little brother was hungry and we were just passing through NJ from Boston.nI will be thinking twice before I walk into that store again.
