D'Angelo Guitars

I brought a 1969 Telecaster in to Phil to be re-fretted and fit with a new bone nut after reading all the great reviews. He was awesome to work with: honest, responsive and most of all, does great work. The guitar was unplayable when I brought it in and now I can't put it down. Would highly recommend D'Angelo Guitars to anyone.

Phil installed a J-pickup in my P-bass; a big job involving routing/wiring additional pots etc... Ended up with a versatile instrument that sounds way better than it did before. Highly recommend this place for any guitar/bass needs!

Phil brought my guitar back to life. The last guitar repairman in NYC, with a good rep. really messed up my guitar, lost parts, barely got the electrical problem usable; barely. I found Phil, he is close to where I work. Phil (the owner) fixed up the electrical problems barely usable by the other guys job. Phil replaced all the lost parts to my guitar that the other guy lost (It's a vintage guitar). Phil did an amazing job repairing the fretboard that was all messed up from years of playing, now it's playable (the other guy didn't notice the fretboard needed major repair) Phil made the guitar playable. And Phil repaired the electrical problem.nnWhat else can I ask for from a Guitar repairman? Good Guy!

Phil is the best around. He is always friendly and knowledgeable, and takes all my guitars to the next level. I recently brought him what was always my favorite and most cherished guitar but it needed to be brought back to life. It now plays and sounds better then it did when I bought it over 10 years ago.

Okay seriously . . . this guy is a wizard. I bring my basses to him and am always 100% satisfied with the results. If you have a guitar or a bass that you think plays and sounds as good as it can, bring it to Phil and let him show you the light.
