This is a review from over a year ago Btw. Never Ever use Excel Carriers from Elmwood Park. The owner / sales man quoted us one the on the phone, gave us a sweet sales pitch. Bad enough they gave us an arrive time of 2-4 pm with no communication ( I called them all day from 345 pm on finally reaching Michael who told me a truck was on its way) but they didn’t show till 6pm, were done loading the truck and left Mahwah at 740 pm got to Clifton at 9 pm. After the walk through , which I heard the guys say “ I’m not looking forward to this “ the foreman, demanded close to $800.00 in cash or they wouldn’t unload my stuff. For the next 10 minutes we debated the contract and then I called the police after he started yelling at me. Ended up paying them $650.00 for them to unload the stuff to the driveway. They left at 1030 pm There is more to this story as I spoke with someone named David too. Bottom line is I was quoted 370.00 for 2 hours labor and one hour travel, but seems as the travel is for their travel home after the job and they also charge a fee for Carrying more than 75 feet and climbing stairs. Yet even with all that they didn’t bring anything inside and they left 30 minutes before , so do I get a 30 minute discount ????

Don't use this company ! They will give you a low price over the phone but once they get to your home the price will double or triple. Anthony will tell you anything to get the sale. He seems nice but it's all a front. I was also missing a watch and my laptop. That all I notice so far. Beware of this company. They also use the tactics of keeping your belongings until you pay .

First id like to say i think its horrible people scam Anthony. First off he could have charged me plenty more yet he didnt. There was a time people wrote fair honest reviews thank you Anthony for doing right by me and my family keeping the price we agreed to on the phone.You get 5 star from me help gets 4 they were tough to work with but Anthony fixed everything like the gentlemen i know him to always be thanks Anthony. Well I must say, I was stress out with moving out my apt. it was a rush kind of move. but when I called excel carriers, my stress was over, on my move day which was 2 days after I called them; Brian the foreman explained how it works on the billing part of my move, which was hourly and packing was additional scared me a bit but had to move, at the unload Brian the foreman ask for the payment on the bill, the price was 340.00 and at the end the price was ok 520.00 it all made since when I saw the receipt. All I can say is great job Brian, Juan, well I don't know the other workers name but great job guy. I tipped them 50.00 each for really saving my back and stress, and the funny part is I don't really tip.
