SOMA Skin & Laser (Paramus)

This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I was looking for a place to get a non-cosmetic procedure done through my insurance and I filled out an inquiry about if my insurance would be accepted or not and they actually called me and told me that they accepted my insurance. I made sure multiple times and asked multiple times if they were sure because I didn’t want to cancel other appointments just in case they didn’t and they REASSURED me that they did take my insurance so I went for my consultation and had a great visit with the doctor and prior to my BOOKED PROCEDURE they all of a sudden said they dont take my insurance AFTER BOOKING MY PROCEDURE!!!!!!!!!!! Usually if a medical office doesn’t accept your insurance they will give you a pre-op billing statement making sure you are aware of the cost and f the procedure. THEY BOOKED ME A PROCEDURE WITH NO PROBLEM AND NO PAPERWORK STATING I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. NOT EVEN THE DOCTOR SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MY INSURANCE IN MY CONSULTATION!!!!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FURIOUS & DISGUSTED. They have terrible customer service and did not even offer me any kind of compensation of a discounted price or anything due to the unskilled staff that called me with inaccurate information of their own buisness. I drove an HOUR for Thai procedure that I really really needed to get done. I’m beyond angry and I never leave reviews or ever have this much to say about any buisness but I HAD to let anyone know that they are extremely unprofessional and I feel bad for the doctor to have such unskilled staff that has no idea what the hell they are doing. I’m disgusted.
