Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I must say that the place has gone down hill in the past year. I froze my account and they kept changing my credit card. My wife and I had 22 massages paid for already and we just wanted to catch up on our services but they wouldn't let us. Therefore, I had to cancel our membership because they said our 22 massages would be o ly good for 90 days. They did give us gift cards. I will never be back to hand and stone. Its sort of a scam where they steal your money.

As usual my recent experience has been very pleasant. The staff are always courteous and helpful and the facility is spotless

Came here two days ago for a massage and my back is still feeling great! Ralph adjusted the areas he spent time on based on the areas I said I wanted more focus on, and stretched out my muscles before beginning since my back gets tight. Also he kept the pressure light as I requested. Will definitely be coming back thank you!

I have been a loyal customer of hand and stone for the last three years, I normally go to hand and stone Morristown or Clifton locations. I was unable to get appointment at those locations so I book a massage at the Emerson location on Sunday 9/20/20 . I was very confused when they did not take my temperature like the other locations. My massage therapist didn’t even tell me her name or offer me the restroom prior to appointment. I told the therapist that I wanted to focus on my back and she said ok but we are going to do the whole body. The therapist seemed to do what she wanted and did not really focus on my back. At the end of the session she just put the light up and slammed the door. The therapist did not say anything to me at the session, I walked myself to the front. I told the receptionist and she said that’s normal that’s why she has openings and didn’t seem to care about my concerns. I am not sure if this is the standard of care at this location but it is definitely not what I am used to at Hand and Stone. I tried to call the manger on Monday and today (Tuesday) but the receptionist told me that the mangers are very busy and it can take up to a week for someone to get back to me. From this whole experience I doubt I will ever suggest this location to someone or go there myself.

Staff is rude. They are not flexible and only try to steal your money. I have been a member for a long time which was a big mistake!!
