They don't answer simple questions just tell you to look at their website. Their site is just links to more links to more links. No answers.nAs other people have noted, very lazy workers. They seem to work only 5 minutes out of the day. Very rude as well.nI will no longer be visiting Austria. There are plenty of other countries in Europe that are nicer and more hospitable.

I very much appreciate their work. We temporary live in CT and needed an emergency passport during the Covid pandemic. There was a problem with the automatic calling system but communication via Email worked great.nWe got everything ahead of time and it just worked out well.nMany thanks to Ms. Baker, vice consul Bunt and the gentleman at the counter.

Efficient and helpful. Went twice now to the NYC consulate and was helped with very little waiting time (booking an appointment online helps I think). The lovely lady at the counter was always friendly and acted in a professional manner even when there were some things missing she advised on a pragmatic solution.

Very lazy workers. You will not get more than a one word answer at best. I don't know why they even bother having this place open at all.

The officer barely knew anything about the required documents. He didn't asked for my invitation letter and fee until I asked him about it. The website is poorly organized and it's difficult to find helpful information.nnI applied for a business visa, but the website didn't say anything about there is a different type of insurance needed. I bought the new insurance, then it took them 2 weeks to email me back just saying the coverage was still not right.nnI called them. They said they will call me back. Guess what? They didn't. The office hour was until 5pm but they closed the telephone line at 430pm.nnOverall very unresponsive and poor quality of service for a government organization.
