It is best to get all your documents in order before arriving. Entry times are very specific and must be adhered to. Plan on spending several hours. The staff is very efficient but not necessarily friendly. Patience is definitely required. Ultimately, several visits were required to complete the visa process as we needed long term visas for an extended stay of two years.

I applied for Schengen visa here. You need to make an appointment online and need to do so early. Mine was made two months before the appointment date. The visa interview happens in the morning. After security, you will get a number. You will be called first to pay at window 1 to submit payment (Visa and MasterCard only), and then later at another window to submit all documents, in the order listed online and on the wall. Cell phones need to be turned off inside. After successfully passing the interview, you can pick up the passport two days later in the afternoon at the same location. Overall it is a smooth experience. They are professional but given the large number of applicants during tourist season, they may seem a bit impatient sometimes, which is understandable.

I had a pleasant experience. Despite showing up late to my appointment and not having all the right documents the visa consular was very friendly. She pardoned my tardiness and have me returned with the correct documents. She accepted my documents, and I was awarded a 1 year Schengen visa.

Overall my visa application interview was good. FYI, they do not provide shipping envelop service for short stay visa, even though I brought a prepaid one, they did not take it. U need to come and pick it up again. Fortunately u can ask anyone who has ur receipt to get ur passport for u.

Friendly and efficient. Processed my employment visa within the day so that I could make my flight that evening.
