I have to update my passport soon. I’ve been trying to make an appointment since September. When I called them, one woman picked up and said «there’s nothing I can do, keep looking on the website». No one cares. Idk what I’m supposed to donnUPDATE:nnThe issue resolved, people helped me. Thank you very much!

Some of the worst service in New York. The employees (several, not all of them) are heartless and cruel and prey upon the limited power they have over people coming in. One called my grandmother names and made her run several blocks to take photocopies of her documents (knowing she had a plane to Russia she had to catch) instead of taking them on the Xerox machine right next to them. Other family members also have horror stories. Getting in touch by phone is extremely difficult as well and it is hit or miss whether you get an employee with decency.

Amazing people. Answered to all questions, all service they provided was very professional on high level. Thanks to everyone.

I’ve renewed my Russian passport twice so far and both times went pretty smoothly. I find online application process the most complicated with all the very specific questions. Once you complete that, everything else is relatively easy.

I need to renew my passport. Trying to make an appointment since August. Called, e-mailed for help, because online it’s just impossible. At the same time the lady on the phone tells me there are spots for end of December/January open, and when I tell her that I look at the screen right now and everything is red and unavailable, she says “oh well there is nothing I can help you with”. I’ve been opening this website almost every day since the and of august. After months of trying, today, I went to the consulate to ask for help to make an online reservation and all they can tell me “sorry there is nothing we can help you with”. This is just unbelievable.
