By the Way Bakery

By the Way has an adorable, clean storefront. Their staff are so lovely. I have no need to eat gluten or dairy free but I got my own birthday cake here - seriously the lemon cake is the best I've ever had; it's also my go-to cake spot for celebrating others. Oh and the chocolate schnibbler (a mini cake) is absolutely delicious...in fact I've never been disappointed in anything I've tried there. Did you know it's also a dairy free, kosher shop? Not vegan but if you have dairy or gluten sensitivities you have to try this place. Even if you don't you must try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Placed my order over the phone for a decorated double chocolate cake for a surprise bday gathering. Customer service was beyond professional and accomodating. As far as the cake, everyone loved it and I will be getting my next party cake from here.

This has been my go-to bakery for the past 3 years and it's not what it used to be. Picked up two birthday cakes last week and the taste and texture was not right, cakes were leaning, and overall not pleasant. Very disappointing, need to find a new bakery.
