I use to get my hair cut by Monique twenty-five years ago, and was immediately a big fan. She pays great attention to detail and knows how to shape styles that suit your face. I could take my contacts out and just let her do her thing. We moved away for nineteen years and once returned to Philly reconnected with her right away. In addition to Monique's talent, I love the brightness and cleanliness of the MOKO salon. Highly recommended!

I have to say I don't have tons of experience going to other salons as this is thee ONLY place I've trusted in my 29 years of life. Monique listened to every single word out of my mouth and made my hair my dream come true and was an absolute joy to be around for 4 hours! I just want to let you know I researched hair salons for the last 3 years and never trusted anyone with my virgin hair until now. MOKO is my one and only place. Ethical, organic products, and an atmosphere that's so welcoming and clean were what got me in the door. Monique and the rest of the team are what will keep me coming back!

Hands down - Best salon in Philadelphia. Monique is the best colorist I've been to since I moved from D.C. over a year ago. She is always so welcoming and I just love the salon pooch, Murphy. The other thing I like is that you're not pestered to buy products or add on multiple services. Prices are reasonable, and I have the best auburn color and cut I've had in my life.
