This bakery has many French specialties that are very well-made and highly reminiscent of bakeries in Paris and other French cities. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. When not restricted by COVID, there is good outside and inside seating. The outside seating has a restricted view of Oswego Lake if you're not too short. This is a popular place, so if you don't want to miss some of the tasty treats, you will need to get here before they sell out. It is suitable for adults or families with children. Pets are welcome in the outside seating area. The quality is high and so are the prices, but at this place you get what you pay for.

Any other day I would give this place a 5 star rating. Up to this point I have loved going here. Today though was the worst experience. Upon noticing a friend waiving outside, the owner - who was waiting on me, completely dismissed me. She asked me what I would like and I told her. But as I am telling her what I would like, she’s not paying attention and instead is waiving and communicating with her friend through the window to her friend who is standing outside. She doesn’t bother apologizing or excusing herself while she gets this young lady who is equally not interested in taking my order. I had to tell her three times as she’s shoving unwanted items in my bag and then was treated with such disregard in her tone and mannerism, as if I offended her for correcting my order. From the very beginning of the pandemic I have supported this establishment, both verbally and monetarily. My partner and I have been very particular with which places we order food from. I can literally count less than four. Customer service is such a huge part of our criteria equal to cleanliness during the pandemic. We did not receive good service and it was a real shame. If this is how their patrons are treated, I won’t be back nor will my friends.

Great coffee, friendly staff, yummy bread, and it's like drinking coffee in a real bakery!!

We ordered coffees, two croissants, and some almond cakes. The croissants are light, fluffy, and buttery. The almond cake is sweet with a hint of orange. The only problem was it took about 30 minutes waiting in line before we could order. Not their fault just got there at a busy time.

Update: Went back to give it a second try. This time I had just a baguette which was pretty good. I do enjoy the vibe sitting outside (in fact I sat on a nearby bench in the park), enjoying the beautiful summer sunshine so for that I agree that this is a great brunch spot.nnOriginal: I don't get the hype. Waited in line for about 20 minutes on a Sunday morning to get an almond croissant and a sourdough bread. A little bit shocked that they cost $12 in total, definitely feel overpriced. The croissant was ok, but the sourdough turns out mediocre, dry inside with small, dense air bubbles that disappointed me at the first cut.
