In 2016 for Teacher Appreciation Week my Charter school hired Ben to come give 15 min chair massages to all the staff. I have been trying to get our schedules to match every since. I went to Ben for significant pain in my right elbow, arm, wrist and neck, and I am so glad I did! Before we met, we spoke on the phone about the problems I was having and he immediately had some ideas about how he could help. I went to my first session a few days later, and experienced immediate relief. I was able to move in a way I hadn't been able to in weeks. He was courteous, caring, and very considerate of my individual pain tolerance during our session. He also helped give me some techniques and stretches to do at home. He also has been very respectful given everything with Covid-19. I'm so glad I went to him, and look forward to the next session.

In the spirit of fairness, I don’t write reviews after one visit because what I seek is consistency, quality and reliability which provides me with a clear understanding of services and results. After a couple of sessions with Ben at Eastern Harmony Healing, I can confidently say that in terms of goals, the outcome has exceeded the expectation. Ben and I spoke on the phone prior to my appointment to discuss my ailments and what I was looking for which was alleviation of intense neck and back pain. (I had already received physical therapy and chiropractic care with little improvement.) I arrived at my appointment in anguish. Ben is an exceptionally skilled practitioner who has an extraordinary ability to identify issues of the body. Ben not only addressed my initial complaints, but also diagnosed misalignment of my hips. While that was not part of the agenda, Ben said that he could not let me walk out with my hips as they were. Acupressure, which was new to me, turns out to be highly effective! I felt restored and the pain diminished even more over time. Ben followed up the day after my initial visit to see how I was feeling. Ben is a highly ethical professional who creates a comfortable environment, listens, and answers questions with thorough explanations. At Eastern Harmony Healing, it is a genuinely warm and human experience with a remarkable provider who is dedicated to the well-being of his clients. I trust his extensive cross-disciplinary knowledge and comprehensive treatment. Since my second visit, I confirm that my body is healing. (I am even surprised at how much better I feel!) I find that I am able to be present without my mind wandering during treatment, which makes it all that much more enjoyable! I am amazed and deeply grateful for the unparalleled care and services that I have received at Eastern Harmony Healing. This investment in my own well-being has begun to move an energy of renewal in my body that I am certain will expand to all parts of my life.

I had my first massage with Ben Monday for significant right shoulder pain that was radiating to my neck, as well as chronic tight hips. The massage itself was very relaxing, despite being uncomfortable at times when he worked on my problem areas. The next day I was sore, as expected, due to such extensive adhesions going in to the massage. 2 days later the soreness was gone as was all of the tightness and discomfort I had before. I was back to full mobility with zero discomfort. From a COVID perspective, I felt very safe. I was the only client there, my temperature was screened and the office was clean. Highly recommend!
