Sweet Masterpiece

I always come here for their fruit tarts which are amazing! Today I went in and decided to try their chocolates.Well, those are freaking delicious as well. I got three different types and they were all so good.nnThis place is a hidden gem and definitely a shop you'd want to check out. I drive 30 minutes to get here and its worth it every time. The owners are super nice people and, you can tell they really put alot into their delicious creations.nnSweet Masterpiece definitely lives up to its name.

I had an amazing chocolate flourless cake thing - maybe a torte? It was delicious! Smooth and chocolatey, not too sweet, just perfect. I took a bunch of small items with me, and they were very good, but nothing beat that chocolate flourless cake. I can't wait to get another. I was just randomly wandering Oregon City in the evening with not much to do, but hoping for a sweet treat. Came across this bakery which was still open at 9 pm (!), despite the later hour, the owner/baker talked to us for a while about their high quality whole, pure foods items, no additives or artificial flavoring.

The owner knows so much about baking with the best ingredients, and in small batches. It absolute delight to bite into their masterpieces.

The melt-in-your-mouth Flourless Torte is totally amazing! Try the Mindiant Bars, they are fun to give your taste buds an exotic explosion of delightful flavors and textures. My favorites are Blueberries with Lavender and Dried Fruit Slices with Sugared Ginger, and the Flourless Cheese Cake Brownies. Many other awesome treats await you at this quaint, specialty sweets, and gourmet chocolate merchant.nThe owners are really sweet too! Truly a hidden gem in Oregon City. If you appreciate fine chocolate, this place needs to be on your hit list. Selection is small but very very well done.
