My daughter purchased sweatpants with her own money yesterday and to be safe since they are not allowing returns or exchanges or try-on’s because of covid I had her get a large. My daughter agreed after a discussion of her always being a medium and my well better baggier so you don’t risk anything not allowing a return. The sweatpants fit like leggings. The store will do nothing. I feel they are mis-marked and we are stuck for $25.00. I understand the covid thing, however all other stores are now accepting returns. I spent 60 on odds and ends and her total was 31, so I guess I can say that’s the last “dime” the 5 and dime will get from us. I’m from out of town but visit here several times a year and usually end up picking something up at Hoy’s on Asbury. I know my business is nothing but I hope others with similar situations where the store should stand behind what the sell and doesn’t will consider going elsewhere. I have also recommended this store to people in the past, hoping they didn’t experience poor business as I have.
