Passport Transport

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Passport. I used them to transport a new car from a dealership in CT to TX. The good news is that my car arrived in excellent condition. They were pretty responsive when I reached out but the info they provided was usually less then helpful. Admittedly I agreed to a delivery date no later than May 17th and they used every bit of that 3 week period. If they were driving all over creation it wouldn’t have bothered me, but the truck stopped in MO for over 24 hours, which I was told was for maintenance, and then the truck stopped for 5 DAYS (yes 5 days) in OK. When I asked why, I was told that other customers weren’t around for pick up or delivery of their cars. So rather than finish the route for a paying customer that was waiting for a car, the driver / company opted to stay in OK and do nothing. I found this totally unprofessional. I thought about going to OK to pick up my car but I paid a lot of money for it to be delivered to my house. And on the day of delivery, the truck ended up being 1 1/2 - 2 hours from the original time I had been told two days prior. When the driver called me the day of, he could tell I was not happy about the new delivery time, but honestly, what was I going to do about it? He had my car. Again, the delay was because of another customer’s delay. While Dennis (the driver) was nice, I will never use Passport Transport again as they don’t treat customers the same.

Absolutely blown away by the professionalism and consideration that our delivery was given by Passport Transport. We had an unusual vehicle to ship and they had no problems accommodating us. It was a very long haul from Montana to Ohio and we were given updates regularly along with live GPS tracking. The driver was flexible and accommodating with our unorthodox delivery and worked with us to make it memorable for the community. The quality for the price was absolutely spot on and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for their expertise, knowledge, and value to anyone that has a vehicle they need to ship!!

Passport Transport exceeded my expectations. It was well worth the extra money to book direct with them verses going through a broker. They were professional every step of the way. Sam was my driver and he was very considerate through our communication and handling of my vehicle. He was also very patient with me while I looked over my vehicle and asked questions. I couldn’t ask for a more smooth transaction!nThanks Sam! And a shoot out to Ken for getting me a great quote, quick scheduling, and setting me up with the best driver ;)!!

My vehicle was supposed to be delivered at 2pm today, the truck did not arrive until 5:15 pm and upon arrival the trailer was not functioning properly and my vehicle could not be unloaded. I am still waiting for a technician to fix the trailer for my car unloaded. At this point 6:45pm I have consumed 5 hours of my father's day dealing with logistical issues that should have been resolved by your company. Had this been a weekday I would have forfeited at least a half day of wages dealing with this. I have had to cancel my fathers dat dinner plans in order to accommodate your company's issues. Passport promised courteous timely service with clear communication. When I booked this service I was told that I would have the vehicle assigned to a route at least a week or so before the window. I was not told a pickup window until I called and requested to cancel my order. Passport then altered the delivery window they had told, me moving it from 6/13-15 to 6/10 with one day of warning forcing me to alter plans I had made around the dates you originally gave me. This is not an inexpensive service, and this is very disappointing to me as you are a reputable company and I had expected better service.

This is a 5 Plus star review.nWe’ve moved our car 6 times with Passport to and from Florida. Have always made arrangements with John, who has been great to deal with. We always use their enclosed shipping option.nAnyway, this is why this review would rate 5 Plus stars.nUnfortunately, after our most recent move, my wife noticed a couple of deep scratches above the driver side door handle.nI spoke to John, who said they’d make it right. He put me in touch with his claim specialist, Jeremy. Went through an easy claim process, and everyone was happy.nYou hope something like this doesn’t happen, but the way a company responds to a situation like this, says a lot about them. . If you choose Passport, you won’t be disappointed.
