My husband had a long term issue that was misdiagnosed by so many or just plain ignored. We were hesitant to go to yet another doctor, but Dr. Phelan was so nice and accommodating, and didn't give up on us until he found an answer..and even with aftercare his nurses and office has been kind to us and answered all questions as they have came up. THANK YOU!

I’d recently moved to Joplin from Nebraska and was looking for a new dermatologist to do my first skin cancer screening/annual mole check. I tried to get in with US Dermatology Partners (only because it was slightly closer to me) but they had a two month wait for a new patient appointment. TWO MONTHS. This is understandable, but not the timeline I was looking for.nI hopped on Dr. Phelan’s website and was able to schedule my appointment for the next day! And the online scheduling tool was quick, convenient, and easy to use.nnI was nervous at first for my appointment, but Dr. Phelan immediately puts you at ease. He’s so easy to talk to, like you’re chatting with an old friend. He looked me over quickly, but thoroughly. I had a few moles that I was worried about and Dr. Phelan was sure to take extra time looking at them, addressing my concerns, and explaining why they aren’t a problem. He and his staff are so kind and welcoming! They also made sure to have a another female in the room, which I thought was considerate (though I would trust him regardless).nnIn summary, Dr. Phelan is an amazing doctor who really knows his stuff. It was quick and easy to see him, unlike other derm offices in the area. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Phelan and his staff to anyone needing a Dermotologist appointment. He was very knowledgeable and considerate of questions and concerns I had during my appointment. He was very personable and made the visit comfortable and educational. Highly recommend!

We are so fortunate to have Dr. Phelan here in Joplin! He and his staff are very professional, well experienced- yet will take all the time you need to discuss concerns and options. I'm very pleased with my results and I highly recommend him.
