R & R Trucking

Please use wisdom about driving OTR for this company. Everyone that has left reviews here has not driven a truck OTR for them and must be working in the office because they write 5 star reviews to bring the percentage up. For a OTR driver I would give them a minus star. They will be nice to you to get you hired although it is a lengthy process for HazMat They will tell you they are like family and you are joining the family, but the truth is the only ones they treat like family are the family members that work there and their favorites. The pay is very low for hauling HazMat and teaming and for the nature of the type of freight R and R hauls. You team, you are only paid for the miles you drive not the miles the truck drives for a team, so be sure you know about this be for you seek a job here. The trucks and trailers are not maintained very well for the nature and type of freight R and R hauls. The trucks will have 3 hundred thousand or more miles on them and the satellite QUALCOMM's are outdated and slow. it is difficult to find some on the places to get loaded or unloaded driving a truck so be prepared to be on a lot of narrow dirt roads in a truck. they only have one yard that has a mechanic so if you breakdown (which happens a lot) you have to go to other shops to get it fixed. With the nature and type of stuff R and R hauls the equipment should be top notch but it is far from that. The other reviews here are probably family members who work for R and R and want to promote the company which is ok and nothing wrong with that but they are not telling you the complete story about driving for this company running teams with HazMat freight and trucks and trailers broke down all the time and they treat their family and favorites different than anyone else.
