When you visit this Lees Summit bakery, the first good thing you will notice when you walk into the store is how good it smells. Fresh baked sweet treats.nnNext is how the bakers describe the goodness in each of their baked goods with such pride.nnThen when you get home is when the deliciousness takes over.

I was lucky enough to try Skratch Bakery today for the first time today. A kind neighbor picked up B&G and cinnamon rolls for a large group of us, and we enjoyed it on our patios this morning. The B&G were delicious, but the cinnamon rolls stole the show. The absolute best I’ve ever had! The cream cheese frosting was perfect and every single bite was as gooey as that perfect middle of the role bite. We will definitely make this a regular stop.

Chocolate cake... great! Carrot cake... to die for. Cinnamon rolls... reminds me of my mom’s, which makes them fantastic! The only employee that I have had the pleasure of working with is Nick. A super nice young man and very customer oriented. I hope they are so successful that they open more bakeries around the area. And I hope Raymore is their next site. Then I won’t have to drive as far to enjoy their baked goods. Love this bakery.

We went here this morning to try it out due to all the positive reviews. They had a sign for a mask, but nothing indicating a limit on how many could be in the store. When we tried to come in (there were three people ahead of us and easily 100 square feet of empty space) we were told to wait outside. When we got inside, despite being the only ones there or in line, and unable to look at the menu until we got inside, the lady at the counter was rushing us to order. We finally placed our order and the food was fine, but not better than other places in town.nnEdit to respond to the comment:nYou think I'm a plant. That's fair, I'm sure many reviews are bought and sold. I don't know if Google allows you to see someone's review history, but look at my other reviews if you can to see that I just like to review places, and I try to give honest reviews.nnI hope you will consider putting a sign up to tell people there's a limit on how many can be in store. It appeared to us like there was plenty of room to wait inside, and we didn't intend to sit down.nnReal or perceived, my wife and I felt rushed. We have been to the other bakery in town, but there are also two paneras, several coffee shops, and a ton of breakfast places.nnI wish your business all the luck, and I hope you succeed.

Come real close, and let me tell you how delicious and decadent these cinnamon rolls are. My taste buds are so happy. I'm like a fat kid in Charlie's Chocolate Factory. I'm going to try something different each time I patronize the business.
